My friend Frank and I took another trip to Detroit Lake in Oregon to target some fat trophy trout off the Dam. We had another incredible day and caught a ton of fish with the help of a crab ring to assure our catch made it safely up the Dam without breaking off. Such a thrill!

We highly encourage you to go check out Detroit Lake and what it has to offer. The fishing is hard to beat and is only a short drive from Salem and surrounding areas.

We have lots more footage from Detroit Lake to share with you but will make sure to fill in some weeks with other content to break it up. We felt like posting this now might help you all get out and find some quality fish during the 4th of July Holiday weekend.
