What is the real reason AustPost fails to deliver mail to the Casuarina Estate at Katherine East Northern Territory?

Apparently our suburb is too unsafe for their Postal Delivery Officers (PDO's).

I believe Katherine Post Office just doesn't want to expand their duties.

I have had multiple excuses as to why they won't deliver:
- the suburb isn't released by the council (false! Our bins get emptied)
- it's not on Google maps yet
- it's too dangerous with all the construction
- no one else has asked for mail delivery
- our PDOs could get trapped as there is only one street in and out (like every dead end road in Australia)
- the road is in poor condition

Well you can see by this video that their excuses are just that. Excuses!

It's been nearly 3 years without mail.

Northern Territory keeps harping on about how modern it is, yet it's suburban residents can't even get a basic service like mail delivered.

The Postal Ombudsman acknowledged our complaint then commissioned Katherine Post Office to do a new safety survey. Please!!!!
They are the issue!

It's not hard AusPost.

Do your job.

Deliver our mail.

Now AustPost want the estate to have a footpath. Yet they deliver on the grass just around the corner on Casurina Street as can be seen here
