Liora Argamani, the mother of Noa Argamani, has died after battle with cancer, just weeks after her daughter was rescued from Gaza.

The 61-year old’s condition deteriorated during the eight months Noa was held in captivity.

It was Liora’s dying wish to see her daughter one last time.

That wish was granted when Noa Argamani was rescued by IDF soldiers on June 8.

Sky News host Gabriella Power said her death is a reminder of how “cruel” Hamas terrorists are.

“Noa Argamani should have spent the last nine months by her mother’s side... Instead, she spent eight of them being held in captivity by Hamas terrorists,” Ms Power said.

Around 120 hostages are still being held by Hamas.
