It's still late winter but lawn maintenance in SoCal is alive and well. I did some backyard mowing, moving the height of cut upwards since the cool-season grasses back there want to grow a lot faster than the warm-season grasses. In the front I hand pulled a few weeds out, notably the Musky Stork's Bill that's making an appearance in my main front yard.

I'll make a video on the chemical control of this weed on the main channel soon but for minor outbreaks just hand-pull it before it gets too big. It's just a tap root plant so easy to remove manually.
