4x speed version
Here is a bucket list journey for me- driving the Arctic Coast Way in Northern Iceland, over the Tröllaskagi peninsular from teh banks of the Eyjafjörður (just outside Akureyri) to Siglufjörður, where Trapped / Ófærð was filmed. Even better, the weather was just the kind of wintery white-out made famous in the series.
This route only came into being in 2010, when the Héðinsfjarðargöng tunnels between Ólafsfjörður
and Siglufjörður opened. Before that, the journey was made by an unpaved mountain pass!
