These tips can be applied to many other plant species as well! The general ārose ruleā is to maintain an above-ground structure that is 5% to 50% smaller than the base or root structure. Pruning new growth (between Spring to Fall) by up to 70%, simultaneously with dead-heading, will result in continuous growth and blooms all season long.
