This year the AvD-Histo-Monte had a very special guest starter: Walter Röhrl, so far the only rally driver to have won the Monte Carlo Rally four times in four different vehicles, took part on the rainy Saturday. For this purpose, Audi Tradition pulled its original emergency vehicle from 1986 from the museum and made it fit for this appearance. Walter, who parked the rally monster in 1986 and never moved it again, was in his element.
