Hi, this video gonna help you to stop deleting texts as you type or spacebar keeps on deleting texts when you press on it. Basically, it's called an insert mode and you probably have this set up incorrectly. Follow one out of these 3 ways to fix this problem.
Way 1: Look on word document status bar and click on overtype or overwrite mode and change it to normal mode again
Way 2: Right on your typing keyboard, press once on the key with label “ insert” or “ins”
Way 3: Go to File - Options - Advanced Options - Editing Options Then Deselect the insert mode and overtype mode.
Notice that, when editing your documents, you might want to use combination of CTRL and Z keys for restoring mistakenly deleted texts. Remember to save document every few minutes by hitting CTRL S
