I've never shared this letter with anyone. Literally, no one. Why share it on YouTube for the first time? I don't know. Talking to a camera about my story has opened up things internally for me that I never anticipated. I've told my story to countless people, and it never gets old. I always have a level of excitement and emotion telling the story, but I've never experienced the feelings that talking to a camera has produced. I don't know what or why that is, but life is funny and I'm thankful.

Prior to any sort of adoption reunion there is a process that must take place, and exchanging letters and photos is one of the steps. In this video I read for you the very first letter I ever received from my biological father.
