First part of this epic 150 mile ride from Birmingham to London on the towpaths of the Grand Union Canal. Leaving Birmingham at 5:00am and starting at the Gas Street Basin and on through Brindley Place into the underworld of Birmingham. Then out into the countryside through Warwick and Leamington Spa, descending and climbing long flights of locks before reaching Braunston and crossing over the mile-long tunnel before carrying on the journey to London in part two.
