California Girls is performed live in 2012 concert by the Beach Boys during their 50th reunion tour. Beach Boys creative leader Brian Wilson will be joined at his Oct. 20, 2013 concert at the Greek Theatre LA by English guitar hero Jeff Beck, who also has been recording with Wilson for a new album that will return Wilson to the Beach Boys' longtime label, Capitol Records. The show also features original Beach boys guitarists Al Jardine and David Marks. After the 2012 50th anniversary Beach Boys reunion tour ended on a sour note, singer Mike Love decided to return to his scaled-down version of the Beach Boys, with keyboardist-singer Bruce Johnston, minus Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, and David Marks. Many years ago, Mike Love won legal control over the Beach Boys' name and brand. Love caught his bandmates off guard with his press release stating he would no longer be requiring their services once the reunion tour wrapped,
