Ca Pass Road Tunnel is an alternative tunnel system for Ca Pass which is very dangerous. This tunnel connects Dong Hoa Town (Phu Yen Province) in the North and Van Ninh District (Khanh Hoa Province) in the South. The tunnel is located on the National Highway 1 arterial road and the East North-South Expressway East (CT.01) of Vietnam.

The tunnel was started construction on 18/11/2013 and opened to traffic on 21/08/2017. The total length is about 13.5 km, of which the tunnel through Ca Pass mountain is 4.1 km long, 500m long through Co Ma mountain, the rest are roads and bridges on the route (9 km) with a speed of 80km/h.

NOTE: Because the tunnel system belongs to a part of the North-South Expressway East,only motor vehicles are allowed (motorcycles and non-motorized vehicles are completely prohibited).
