The 3 Worst Study Mistakes to Avoid

Hey guys, so for today's video I wanted to go over the 3 worst mistakes you can make when studying which were inspired by a paper that I found back in my 3rd Year of medical school (2018). In the study, they looked at all the existing research on 10 common learning techniques and categorized them into 3 groups: low utility, moderate utility and high utility. For today's video, we are going to be focusing on the 3 techniques that were found to be low utility: 1) rereading, 2) highlighting and 3) summarizing.

As a disclaimer, this is not to say you can't or shouldn't use these techniques at all - it's more that you should be focusing a greater portion of your time doing more active ways of learning.
