Dispatch 20-012-01 Hypervigilance and Post-Traumatic Growth
Many veterans and first responders are affected by hypervigilance, which is being hyper sensitive to everything going on around you. Not is it only physically, cognitively and emotionally draining, it leads to all sorts of anxiety, anger and otehr issues that can make even the happiest of times a nightmare for those affected by it and those closest to them. Despite this, hypervigilance does have its benefits and gifts, which is what I want to focus on over the next three videos.
