The Winooski river in Waterbury has overflowed out of its banks flooding most of the homes in town. Residents can be seen using kayaks and canoes to access their homes and gather belongings. I followed one couple to their home and captured their reactions to seeing their house flooded. I found two other residents sitting on their porch at their home which was isolated by water. I got their interviews and they explained their survival plan. This are received similar flooding during hurricane Irene so many of the residents know how to handle this crisis.
