NEW PROJECT!! Have you thought about converting a patch of grass or lawn into future groceries? but are not sure where to start?.... Big patches of lawn can be daunting so I've been tackling my edible gardens one section or project at a time....and that is exactly what we are doing today!
I already have raised garden beds, living shade, a food forest fence screen, a wildlife pond, and a kitchen garden...But today is something a little bit different. A step above the rest and a bit of an experiment...
I recently came across syntropic agroforestry which is similar to what I have been creating with permaculture food forests (but on another level). I use succession planting to grow annuals while I wait for the trees to get established but Syntropic Agroforestry incorporates so much more!!! So this garden will be my first syntropic experiment and I'm very excited to get started! SUBSCRIBE for future updates 🎉
