Composer Dani Howard was commissioned by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra to write a work for them to perform in 2021, and she chose to write a Trombone Concerto for LSO Principal Trombone Peter Moore. On Sunday 24 April 2022, Dani's concerto receives its London premiere with the LSO and Peter as soloist, conducted by Xian Zhang (tickets: https://lso.co.uk/whats-on/icalrepeat..., so we got Dani and Peter together at LSO St Luke's to talk through the piece and tell us how they worked together during a difficult pandemic period to create this beautiful work.
