This delicious homemade cheesy puff pastry bread is the perfect mix of tender dough and savory cheesy flavor. The recipe combines fresh yeast, warm milk, olive oil and a pinch of sugar to create a fluffy dough filled with melted cheese. Repeatedly rolling and wrapping the dough creates an airy, flaky texture that makes every bite a delight. Decorated with black and white sesame seeds and baked until golden brown, this bread is not only a visual eye-catcher, but also an irresistible culinary delight. Recipe:
400-450 g of wheat flour (3.5 cups).
1 tablespoon sugar (1 tablespoon).
13 g fresh yeast (1/2 oz).
125 ml warm water (1/2 cup).
125 ml warm milk (1/2 cup).
70 ml olive oil (7 tablespoons).
5-6 g salt (1/2 teaspoon).
90g butter (3 ounces).
For the filling:
200g cheese (1 cup).
For decoration:
Sesame white and black.
Knead the dough and let it rest for 50-60 minutes.
Shape the buns as shown in the video. Brush with milk and olive oil.
Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 25-30 minutes.
