Blessed Maria Gargani, also known as Maria Crocifissa of Divine Love, was a member of the secular Franciscan Order and the founder of the Sisters Appstles of the Sacred Heart. Born on the evening of December 23, in Morra de Sanctis, in Avellino, Italy and died on May 23, 1973 in Naples, Italy. She was known for having written of 60 letters to Padre Pio

Her feast day is celebrated on May 24, evert year in the Catholic Church.
