It's finally the time of year where our garden is full of blooms and full of life! Each season, we make a specific effort to attract monarch butterflies to the garden by planting a large amount of milkweed plants. Luckily again for us this year, some monarchs have shown up and laid eggs on the plants! In today's video, we are going to show you how we like to set up and rear young monarch caterpillars in a protected enclosure to help ensure that they reach adulthood. Monarchs are a species of special concern and there is a real possibility that we could lose this species in the wild entirely within our lifetime. That is why we like to do everything that we can to help them out along the way!
