In this video I will show you the process that I have developed to solder slipjoint bolsters on my knife builds. The limits to spot welders is that it is very difficult to mix materials. This method of soldering will give a solid seamless bond to brass, bronze, stainless and carbon steel and even damascus. Take your bolster game to the next level with this simple soldering technique that is easy to master the first time. Unlike welding, if you are not happy with the placement of the bolster it is very easy to redo them until they fit the look that you are going for without having to remake the liners or "live with it" It will truly takes your slip joint making skills to a whole nother level.
