Macau Fisherman's Wharf (Portuguese: Doca dos Pescadores de Macau, English: Macau Fisherman's Wharf) is Macau's first themed cultural, creative, entertainment and tourism complex, with a shopping mall imitating European and American Fisherman's Wharf. Macau Fisherman's Wharf was built opposite the new reclamation area of the outer harbor and adjacent to the new Hong Kong and Macau Ferry Terminal. It was invested and built by Stanley Ho and Chow Kam Fai with a total investment of approximately MOP 1.85 billion. It took 5 years of preparation and construction. The opening ceremony and trial operation were held on December 31, 2005 by Macau Chief Executive Edmund Ho Hau Wah and Fisherman's Wharf Chairman Stanley Ho. It was officially opened on December 23, 2006 after one year of trial operation. It was formerly the old Macau Hong Kong and Macau Ferry Terminal.
