I recently purchased a 2023 R1250GS after nearly five years on a Triumph Tiger 1200. There were a few surprises in store for me! This machine was never going to blow me away, that might be reserved for those trading up from smaller machines, but I wasn't prepared for what I found. There is a lot to like about this bike, but it has its faults too.

My height is 6' (182cm) with a short 29" leg (74cm). I weigh 18St 5lbs (116kg or 257lbs). The bike is a new 2023 R1250GS with stock Anakee Adventure tyres correctly inflated. It is factory stock with zero modifications. I had its first service and there are no issues with the bike.
