Hard To Get is an unreleased track recorded between 10-21 July 1979 at Mountain Ears Sound Studio in Boulder, Colorado, during sessions for The Rebels album (the same set of sessions that produced Too Long, Disco Away, Thrill You or Kill You, You, If I Love You Tonight, The Loser, an untitled instrumental by Dez Dickerson and an untitled instrumental by André Cymone).

Prince re-recorded the song in early 1981 at his at Kiowa Trail Home Studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota, in what is thought to be a solo version.

Not sure if this version is the 1979 or 1981 version, but I'm sure you'll enjoy it anyway!
