A short snippet of the wind-whipped Blizzard of '22 that hit New England on Jan 29. Here in Mattapoisett, we saw just over 18" while Boston got 23.5" and nearby Bridgewater, Mass. got a whopping 35.7". The most impressive feature of the storm, however, was the wind which blew at a sustained 75 mph for a time with gusts topping 99 mph on outer Cape Cod in Truro.
