Domain-driven design (DDD) is an entire philosophy around how to tackle complexity in software that involves not only software design, but also entire teams, the wider business. It affects entire business processes besides the fundamental patterns, techniques and best practices. Bounded contexts are one of the pillars of DDD. There is no DDD without bounded contexts! In this video I try to explain as accessible as possible what DDD bounded contexts are and how we should start thinking differently when we're designing software.
