Religious leaders from across the country have expressed support for youthful protesters who successfully pushed for rejection of the finance bill.
Addressing the press separately the council of imams and preachers of Kenya CIPK and the Anglican Church Mombasa diocese said the government must produce the suspects and if they are criminals have them arraigned. They have also asked youthful protesters to allow parliament follow the processes required to ensure the bill is done away with. The religious leaders say police officers who use excessive force against protesters to be subjected to the law.
