Miltiádis Tentóglou of Greece retained his men’s long jump title, Sandra Elkasević and Nafissatou Thiam etched their places in history as they also defended their titles in style. France’s Cyréna Samba-Mayela was a sensational winner of the women’s 100m hurdles, Jakob Ingebrigtsen dominated the 5000 metres and Perseus Karlström took gold in the 20-kilometer race walk.
