Here's a video I took the day I took my new, 15 year old FEG SA2000M AK47 out to shoot the first rounds through. I shot 40 rounds this day to "PROVE" my conversion. I bought the rifle in original factory configuration, and converted it by enlarging the mag-well, and internal rails level with dimples, swapping the stock bolt with one from an AMD65 to engage the cartridges better from each side of the double stack mag. I had to shave the new bolt in one small area and then it fit as if it was a matched pair. I also had a temp trigger guard and mag release until my new one came.
I wanted to do a 10 round high rate of fire but the DNR guy was at the range doing some maintenance. I was able to get 5 rounds in right at the end of the video as he was leaving. I was taking my time shooting because he was there. Stalling. Oh well at least it didnt detonate.
I also had my Shotgun out testing new home cast 00 buckshot loads. Nice tight pattern when using ramen noodles as a buffer. Just ground them in a blender and tapped it in, sealed them up with a cardboard disk and some melted crayon to finish.
