These Black & White Photo's of Masks Colorized of Different Native American Tribes throughout North America. These Sacred masks offered a sense of Creation from the Great Spirit to the person, who held it in high regards. It often reflected a spiritual nature and was considered a "being."
Masks where often used for prayer, for gratitude, for ceromonial dances, for story telling, for sacred gatherings and other reasons based on each Tribes Spirtual Practices.
