In my travels, I’ve found some of the most amazing running trails along rivers. Today I share a run I did recently along the Schuylkill River. I was told this was part of the run Rocky in the movie did. Is it? I don’t know, but the views were absolutely breathtaking. All along the trail there are different and beautiful bridges, greenery everywhere and lots of runners to keep you company! I start the video after 4 miles because I spent a couple of miles racing against a talented runner and nearly killed myself to stay ahead of him. Dumb? A bit, but then a race once in a while can be good! To make it more interesting, I got lost on my return to the start by ignoring a road closure, now that was dumb! Today I was lucky and was only forced to detour and discover some new trails, but I should not do that again as road closures are to alert us of possible dangers, sorry. Well, the drizzle finally caught up with me but only in the end of the run. Either way, this trail is one of the most beautiful I’ve done so far and I need to come back and try the entire trail next time!
