So apparently the TM 22holds a deep dark secret, it's recoil assembly. It's similar in concept to an AR15 with a buffer assy and spring, but it's got it's own twist on it. It uses a rubber disk to contain the energy, vs the AR's spring. This part is retained by the AR style Buffer Tube assy, the rubber disk on mine has failed and thats caused the bolt to hit the chassis of the rifle with the cocking handle. The bolt that holds the cocking handle is a 4mm bolt, not alot of strength there, when mine broke the cocking handle was lost also unfortunately.
I've spoken to a distributer of these rifles and have files a warranty claim. More later .
