Desert SOL Dance Competition Highlights

What a fun day! We danced American Rhythm (Cha Cha Rumba Swing Bolero and Mambo), then in the evening we danced Latin (International Cha Cha Samba Rumba Paso Doble and Jive).

We were able to take a 1st and two 2nd places out of four separate championships in each category and are excited about the rest of the year. I want to thank the Desert Sol Dancesport Organizers Decho Kraev & Natalie Crandall, Imperial Ballroom Dance Company, our dance studio, and OF COURSE, the star of every competition we enter, my instructor and partner, Tjaša Novak!

Next up will be Peoples Choice DanceSport Competition
at the Westin Resort in Scottsdale on May May 22-26th, run by Forrest Vance 7-time U.S. Rhythm Champion.

There I will be dancing with Tjasa again AND… I will be dancing in the Amateur category with my rising star wife, DEBBIE! We will be doing Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Rumba and Swing. Stay tuned for more details.
