What to forage for in January? Take a walk with me as I check out some of my favourite foraging spots in my village on the Isle of Wight, and see what wild food is good to gather now in January.

Remember, never consume any wild plant or fungi until you are 100% sure that you have a correct identification. Many plants when they are in their early stages of growth can be mistaken for their toxic lookalikes, foraging is a discipline that takes knowledge and practice to keep yourself safe.
