Grandmaster Sultan Khan burst onto the chess scene in the late 1920's and was a blazing comet across the chess board 🌠
His was a servant to a Businessman and took on the most brilliant chess minds of the era. Winning the British Championship 3 times and playing for the Olympic Team on Board 1.
Shortly after learning the rules of traditional chess and with limited Opening knowledge, Khan defeated none other than Capablanca, Tartakower, Marshall and drew Alekhine 😯
His short chess career is mind-boggling and a reminder that anything is possible!
