Vlog 15 and we are in one Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

I freaking love Ho Chi Minh, and love love love Vietnam!
Ho Chi Minh is a crazy frenetic city with an incredible history and genuinely nice people.

Yes, it's frenetic and full of people today, but like a lot of other cities in South East Asia, it's a BLAST.

Once again, we had very limited time there but we definitely made the most of it getting our shots (even with the tricky weather conditions), street food and snacks for the road. Another great day on the Majestic Silk Road with Princess Cruises.

Hello everyone.

Two years ago, I took part in a very cool project. I had been working with Princess Cruises for a few years as a freelancer photographer, and had covered the inauguration of their new ship the Majestic Princess in April of 2017. It was a big deal and a big ship.

A month and a half later, I embarked on the Majestic Princess for its maiden voyage. Starting in Rome, we followed the maritime Silk Road all the way to Shanghai. The route was absolutely incredible and I brought along my friend Iouri to assist me throughout, and to compose the music for the weekly videos I produced for Princess Cruises along the way.

This was an incredible trip and a wonderful personal experience to share with a good friend. A lot of travel, new cultures, new foods and new encounters along this hilarious trip. We were in our own bubbe for sure, and it was awesome.

I had produced three VLOGs back then while on ship, but the workload and limited internet access made it damn near impossible to keep up the pace. Without forgoing what little sleep I had that is.

I’ll be revisiting this journey and sharing this journey with you over the next few weeks (months?) looking back at the footage in the Time Capsule.

Born and raised in Bayonne (France), I am now based in Paris, France. I primarily focus on commercial food photography and editorial and commercial travel photography. I also direct travel videos and aerial photography and video footage as well.
