Adrien Lewis is the Chief Innovation Officer of CarePortal, a nonprofit connecting churches, caseworkers, and community institutions to provide real-time support to families in need. CarePortal’s innovative software empowers case workers to submit requests on behalf of their clients and activate local volunteers to support and build relationships with the families. CarePortal leverages this community involvement as a preventative solution for the nearly 270,000 children in the U.S. entering the foster care system. CarePortal offers a holistic, community-driven approach to provide direct support to vulnerable children and families.

Adrien delivered a Stand at Stand Together Foundation’s August 2022 Catalyst Summit in Denver, Colorado to an audience of over 300 nonprofit leaders. Adrien shares his own personal story of transformation, and how CarePortal is rethinking foster care in America.
