Welcome to our Q&A session with our valued employee and our apprentice, Janie Cruz! In this video, I asked her a couple of questions to get a perspective of a Mobile Grooming apprentice and employee. I feel like this is valuable to know what to look for in a future employee and to know what motivates them. I also made this video to motivate other groomers or business owners to hire people and train them how to groom. It is a big investment in time, money, and effort but it has been a rewarding journey if you hire someone that aligns with your business's mission and core values.

Grooming is a valuable tool to teach someone because not only is it a tool for self-expression but grooming is also a career. It is one of the only industries that is recession and pandemic proof. Additionally, you will be able to help more pets and pet parents by adding and training another groomer to your team.

If you are thinking of training someone from the ground up, know your WHY and find the people that align with it.
