In a previous video we discussed an experimental hone created by Brad Lagman at QMP Racing designed to hold more oil with the aim of increasing crankcase vacuum. In this video we show you the amazing results!

Working with the team at Shaver Specialties Racing Engines, a Ford Performance / Tony Stewart Racing 410 Sprint Car engine was built and dyno tested using the baseline hone. That same engine was rebuilt and honed by Brad Lagman at QMP Racing with a hone designed specifically for an aluminum block, methanol fueled engine. Combined with gas ported rings from Total Seal, this new combination made a significant difference in crankcase vacuum, which indicates improved piston ring seal.
