In this video I review our RV camping spot near the beach at the Somoa boat ramp in Somoa, CA. This was a county ran parking lot that allows you to camp at for up to 7 days at $25 a day with extra fees for dogs, cars or day use that you pay by envelope to Humboldt county. We really enjoyed this stop for what it was having immediate access to the beach and stunning views of the ocean. The only downside was that there' only water available (only at some of the sites) but its not really a problem if your setup for dry camping. The cell signal out here is good with att and verizon without our booster which was great, and the lot was very level so no issues with that. The campsite is about 15 minutes from the town of Eureka which has everything you'll need ( gas, food, supplies). This is a first come first serve parking lot with plenty of spaces so there's no problem finding a spot even on the weekend ( outer spots may be full though). Overall I'd recommend coming out here if your in the area to enjoy the beautiful views and quite atmosphere right next to the ocean.
