Longtime Woodbury resident Jean Louise Garbe Brown was one of the founders of the Woodbury Community Foundation, longtime member of the Dist. 833 school board and her father was on the school board way back in the 1960’s. She also rode her pony “Zipper” to school as a child. Her contributions have shaped education in Woodbury and improved the community as a whole.
