The development of The Last Guardian, what it became, and how the game evokes emotion is something both greatly misunderstood and adored. In this video, I talk about how the Last Guardian came to be, what led Fumito Ueda to his design philosophy behind the game, and it's overall divisive response from the gaming community. The Last Guardian is one of my favorite games of all time, yet it is extremely divisive and greatly misunderstood. I attempt to explain why I believe it deserves a lot more love.
