Hello everyone. My name is Alexey, today I came to my underground house. It was flooded with water 5 months ago. You can see how it happened here:    • Flood in the dugout. I can't go insid...
A month after the flood:    • The flood happened again. The water d...
You can also watch how I built my dugout, if you haven't seen it, I collected all the episodes in one video.
Construction of the dugout from start to finish:    • Building a dugout in the wild forest ...
On the way, I found a dry piece of birch bark, took it in my pocket to use for lighting a fire. I don't have much time. I just came to see if there is water inside.
Now I'm near the dugout, I take off my backpack and go to the entrance, I can't wait to see if there is water there. Hooray! There is no water inside. I go inside and look around. Everything is in its place. Nothing was stolen. I'm glad there is no more water.
First I need to prepare the firewood, it needs to be split into small pieces. Then I take a piece of birch bark that I found on the way here and light a fire. I need water, so I went down into the house and took a bottle of water. Because of the dampness inside, there are a lot of mosquitoes. It's not nice.
Before cooking, you need to wash the vegetables. Today I will cook hamburgers. I will need: buns, cucumber, tomato, cheese, greens, sauce and beef cutlets.
It turned out very tasty and juicy. Enjoy your meal!
After eating, I went down into the house underground again to assess the damage after the flood in more detail. All the lower logs are moldy. There is no water in the drainage pit under the floor, this is good.
The stove is covered in rust. The lower part of the door is moldy. Now I am not so happy. Unfortunately, there is a lot of work ahead. I do not know if I will have time to tidy up the dugout this year. I need to finish building another house to spend the winter in.
3 years ago, when I was building this underground shelter, I dug up a small tree and transplanted it to another place so that it would not interfere with my building the shelter. I want to find this tree and see what condition it is in. I transplanted this spruce 3 years ago! It looks good. I'm glad I was able to save this tree's life. An old tree fell nearby, it needs to be removed.
The dugout doors need to be closed, the rainy season is coming. I removed the dry leaves and closed the doors so that water does not get inside. Thanks for watching. Until next time.
