Hello, everyone!!!

Thank you for watching this set I did a month ago. It was a lot of fun to prepare a gypsy jazz performance for an hour showcase at the Night Owl Cafe (shout out to Rod for having me).

I'm on a journey to getting better at the guitar, learning Django solos and transcriptions. My goal is to become more efficient with my playing so I can feel comfortable and confident playing gigs.

This is a raw hour gypsy jazz set that I've never done! For most of the songs, I recorded the backing tracks using my guitar and midi keyboard for the bass. I used the Boss RC 505 to record the tracks and was able to easily scroll through each song.

I know it's not the cleanest sound or perfomance (lots of mistakes 🤔 🤷 🙄 😕 😏) but it's real. I'm putting this out in the world to hold myself accountable to practicing more often and getting better because it's my passion in life!!!
