Welding Blind ?? Help! I Can't See When I'm Welding! Visibility during welding is probably the most important thing for a new welder. Are you new to MiG welding or flux core ? When I first started to weld I could never see what I was welding. Metal fabrication is a great hobby but can be very frustrating if you cant see what you are doing. Flux core welding is about the easiest welding process to learn for a new welder but we all seem to suffer from the same thing we cant see what we are supposed to be welding when we are learning. Sometimes it may depend on your welding helmet but more to the point it will be your welding technique.
