This ride in the driver's cab takes you from Fulda over the Vogelsberg to Gießen, or more precisely even a little further to Albshausen. Normally the RB45 train would run from Fulda to Limburg, but the traffic concept has currently been changed so that line 45 ends in Albshausen. The service is part of the Lahntal-Vogelsberg-Rhön tender.

A diesel railcar of the 2648 series is in use today, with which it was a little more difficult to keep to the timetable due to the weather conditions. At the Gießen line junction, however, all passengers were able to reach their connections on time and continue their journey to their destination as planned.
