The first Sunday of October is a fixed date for 'Oldtimer Hakseldag Dalen'. Hollands' largest classic maize harvesting fest in the North of the country. Loads of self propelled harvesters, trailed and mounted machines behind classic tractors spring into action to cut several fields of forage maize. It is a big spectacle, often with very rare equipment at work.
