God is a perfect architect. Every millimeter of our lives has been carefully planned and designed to give us exactly the experience we need in our lives. Just as each member of our family has a specific role and function. Everyone is essential and important in their own way. Even those who challenge us, hurt us, make us uncomfortable, hurt us, and seem to try our patience.

Some of our greatest challenges are certainly within the family. Often those we love the most are the people who end up causing us the deepest wounds. It's hard to understand how someone we love so much can sometimes cause us so much pain. You know, more and more I've been looking at these situations as opportunities to "polish" ourselves, to practice compassion and forgiveness, and to manifest Christ in us.

God is perfect all the time. Everything He allows to happen is part of the plan. For example, we wouldn't know the glory of the Lord if Judas hadn't betrayed Jesus. If that hadn't happened, Christ wouldn't have been crucified, and we wouldn't know of His ability to forgive and resurrect. What happened was necessary for us to know the power of God.

In the same way, absolutely everything in our lives has a purpose. The members of our family are there by chance. They are the right people so that we can develop certain virtues, so that we can evolve, grow, learn to forgive, share, unite and live in community. Our family environment, whatever it may be, whether it's formed by blood ties or by people who have ended up on our path and whom we now consider family, is the perfect environment for us to have the experience of BEING HUMAN and manifesting the CHRIST, the Christ Consciousness within us.

With all of this in mind, we close our eyes, sit in a comfortable position, take a deep breath and invoke the presence of the Holy Spirit within us. The Holy Spirit represented by the violet flame, the one who transforms, the one who changes, the one who reveals the truth to us. And filled with this spirit of love, let's think of each member of our family and thank them for their existence and for the role that each person plays in our journey.

We know, even without understanding, that they are the right people for us, and therefore, even in difficult situations, we can be grateful to God for each one. Take another deep breath and, with a heart full of gratitude, send this feeling out to your family members, thanking them for helping you to evolve. Notice how this attitude affects you.

It's very important for us to remember in this process that those who are the hardest to love are the ones who need our love the most. May the presence of Christ in us help us in this process. May you all have a wonderful day and be able to express your love for each of your family members in the best possible way.
