Master Ruguang has a Bachelor from the College of Chinese Culture and Master of Meditation Philosophy from Viriyachan University.
He is the 10th Abbot of Beitou Puji temple, the Administration Abbot of Viriyachan’s Temple, and is the current Abbot of Lixing Zen Temple, Hualian Taiwan.
He inherited the lineage of Zen Buddhism from Linji Sect and Soto Sect. He once served as the Supervisor of the Buddhist Li Xing College and the Abbot of Puji Temple in Lingquan mountain, Taiwan.
