In this opinion video I explain the reasons why I feel that Morrowind remains the best game in the Elder Scrolls series, and why it is still relevant today in 2014, more than ten years after it was originally released. I also discuss the importance of the engine a game is built on and why projects like Skywind may not provide the experience people are looking for.

I am currently working on a companion video to this one detailing which mods I use and how to go about installing them for a more "updated" version of Morrowind for 2014. It will be linked in the description of this video when it is uploaded.
